I will NEVER love you.
Oh say can you see.
Ain't nothing changed Knigger
so quit trying to be me.
You wanna look like me sooo bad
that you can't even really see.
I just laugh and shake my head
'cause it will never be.
Do you really think
that light skin or "good" hair
really even matters to me?
Truth is Knigger,
YOU
hate dark and nappy
gon on and tell the trooffa
For me it barely registers
'cept how ignorant you can be.
You broke yo' own mirror,
so you don't haft ta look.
No shame.  Just pretend to be the image
in the magazine book.
Only foolin' yourself
gon' always get took.
For the money that you spend
waiting for me to equate.
Just keep on spending Knigger,
It'll be a loooooong wait.
And that's why you'll always be broke
Dressed to the nines bought and sold.
New sneaker, new clothes, new hair
your mind is in a chokehold.
So, you'll never be prepared, and you'll
NEVER really be complete.
You're a common joke...umph umph umph
dancing in your own deceit.
Just add rhythm and keep it on the beat.
You can't believe the truth
'cause you don't wanna see.

don't blame it on me.
You'd simply rather live a lie
than accept who you really be
why bother when you can buy a fantasy.

I still call you Knigger, but only under my breath now.

and all the powers that be, on earth.

When you cry to the law of the land, it's nothing but a gamble.
It's fair only when I say so, but you won't leave me alone,
so everywhere I go I have to sip Patron'.
You'll follow me anywhere, whether I'm right or wrong.
No matter how I treat you, your love remains strong.
But we are all sinners, so what do I have to fear?

it's in your genes to be kind, and cast away your own true worth
leaving yourself in a bind.
You'll always be begging at barred doors,
asking me to let you in.
Bringing all of your money and God given gifts
hoping you'll marry my kin.
Well, I know I don't speak for everyone, but more than quite a few.
